Cash donations

Cash donations are greatly appreciated! It is tax deductible and 100% of your contribution goes towards the project in Malingua Pamba. I take no salary and have no other office help. As a typical family in Malingua Pamba makes on average $20/month, we are greatful for anything you can contribute.

For the 2008-2009 school year, a donation of $60 will cover the cost of matriculation and books for one quagua for one year. If you designate (i.e. in the memo area of your check) that you wish to sponsor a child, I will mail you a photo of your guagua. If you would like to send a photo of you (and your family) I will share this with your child.

To make sure that things actually arrive in Quito, Ecuador and then make their way up to Malingua Pamba which is 6 hours by bus on a good day, I need to hand carry them on my twice annual visits. Small, light weight items are better. I prefer not to bring clothing as that does not directly forward my goals of improving their level of education and health.

We are always in need of health and medical supplies. These include: aspirin, bandages, disinfectants and anti-parasitic medicines.

Additionally, the school is in need of coloring books, pencils and crayons.
