Minga is a Quechua (indigenous S. American language) word that means barn raising. This one word encompasses, expresses, exudes the community spirit that has sustained this group of people for centuries. Once you encounter/interact with the Quechua, your life will be touched in indescribable ways.

The community of Malingua Pamba volunteered and provided all the labor for free in order to build their first, secondary school house.  The money and materials for the building were provided by the generous donations of contributors and volunteers like you.

Please read this enthralling story of how one person made a difference in this small mountain community of Ecuador and how, with your help, you can keep this dream alive for so many people and make a difference too.

Centro Educativo La Minga, Inc. is a non-profit, tax deductible organization.
